Alaska Operator Training Courses

Alaska Class A/B Operator Training
The Alaska Online Class A/B Operator Training covers owner accountability, petroleum tank safety, and compliance issues. This course will fulfill your Class A/B Certification requirement and is approved Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation. Alaska Class C Operator Training
The Alaska Class C Operator Training provides clerks and non-management personnel with a basic understanding of petroleum storage tank systems as well as the knowledge they need to properly handle emergencies. This course will fulfill your Class C Certification requirement and is approved Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation. PLEASE NOTE: The Class A/B Operator Training also includes the Class C Operator Training within the course content. This allows Class A/B Operators to become familiar with what their Class C Operators must learn in order to become Class C Certified. Operators that serve as Class A,B & C Operators need only purchase the one course (Class A/B) to become Class A/B/C Certified.

Alaska Non-Compliance Retraining Modules

If you are an A/B Operator that has received a Notice of Violations from the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation, you will be required to take one or more of the modules to recertify. This training has been approved by the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation and will satisfy your non-compliance retraining in the area(s) for which you received the Notice of Violation.
Note: Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation requires retraining within 30 days of when the Notice of Violation was received.

Components of Tank Systems
If your facility received a Notice of Violation for Tank Components, Spill Prevention, Overfill Prevention, Corrosion Protection or Compatibility, you will need to take this module. This module is an in-depth look at the components of a tank system and common equipment issues that may cause leaks and require regular monitoring, maintenance and repair. Federal Regulations Overview
If your facility received a Notice of Violation for Spill Prevention, Overfill Prevention, Corrosion Protection or Delivery Prohibition, you will need to take this module. This is an overview of the Federal Regulations governing facilities with underground storage tanks. Operator Training
If your facility received a Notice of Violation for Operator Training or Emergency Response, you will need to take this module. This module defines the duties and responsibilities of the Class A, B and C Operators as well as the certification training and documentation requirements for each class of operators. State Requirements
